Your purpose:

Under the direction and supervision of the Executive Assistant and Office Manager, the full-time Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for team-member scheduling of CentralStar Cooperative A.I. (Artificial Insemination) Specialists and Team A.I. Technicians in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring adequate coverage is maintained and optimal service expectations are achieved for our owner dairy farmers and beef producers.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Creates and maintains the master relief-A.I.-team-member schedule;
  • Strategically coordinates and adjusts A.I.-team-member schedules like a puzzle, ensuring optimal coverage, efficient resource allocation, and seamless alignment of availability with business needs;
  • Clearly communicates scheduling updates and changes to team members within 24 hours, with the goal of balancing business priorities with individual needs to foster understanding and collaboration, and to do so using professional empathy, if needed;
  • Utilizes Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 to execute duties as assigned;
  • Tracks and summarizes monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports;
  • Helps to train new team members;
  • Supports leadership’s goal of fostering strong relationships between team members to promote a positive work culture of engagement and synergy for the purpose of retention and just providing an overall nice place to work; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent preferred, with at least 1-2 years of experience in administration;
  • Strong computer skills, including but not limited to office programs and e-mail associated with Microsoft 365, with the ability to learn other associated software, as needed;
  • Highly organized and able to work independently, as well as in a team structure;
  • Outstanding people skills, with service-orientated attitude;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Natural skill to work through stressful situations;
  • Ability to take on new projects and coordinate with others involved; and
  • Knowledge of dairy/agriculture is preferred, but not mandatory.
