Calf Accellyte II is a nutritional electrolyte formula developed for young dairy, beef, and beef-on-dairy calves during hydration challenges and stress events like transport. It supports normal fluid balance and energy intake when calves need extra support.
Formulated with potassium and sodium, Calf Accellyte II replenishes essential electrolytes and restores proper fluid balance. Rapid-absorbing sugars provide immediate energy to support weak or off-feed calves, while sodium acetate buffers let you keep feeding milk or milk replacer with no change to your feeding program.
Glycine and glutamine support normal gut function and the calf’s ability to absorb water and nutrients. Betaine, an osmolyte, supports cellular hydration during periods of stress.
Calf Accellyte II also includes a blend of direct-fed microbials (DFM) such as Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Lactobacillus acidophilus, and Bifidobacterium animalis, which support a balanced population of beneficial gut bacteria. Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) act as a prebiotic, nourishing those microbes during digestive challenges.
