Description

CONVERT Calf Gel is formulated with a specialized blend of direct-fed microorganisms, microbial sugars, enzymes, specialized proteins, and beneficial bacteria to help calves maintain digestive balance and intestinal integrity.

The concentrated formula is especially useful for newborn calves and individual calves facing stress from weather, transportation, calving difficulty, poor appetite, digestive upset, or disease challenge.

Three species of direct-fed microbial bacteria help inoculate the digestive tract and outcompete pathogenic bacteria. This supports healthier intestinal villi, stabilizes gut bacteria populations, and promotes stronger digestive function.

The proprietary cell wall-deficient microbial technology helps stabilize digestive tract pH and support immunomodulation during stressful periods.

Egg-based specialized proteins help restrict the growth of common calf pathogens, including:

  • E. coli K88 and K99
  • Rotavirus G6 and G10
  • Bovine coronavirus
  • Salmonella typhimurium and dublin
  • Cryptosporidium
  • Clostridium perfringens A and C

The blue-colored Day-One Gel turns calf manure green the day it is used, providing a visual indicator that supplementation was properly administered.

Directions for Use

At Birth

  • Administer 5 to 15 cc orally at birth
  • One full 15 cc tube may be given for calves needing additional support

During Calf Challenges

  • Administer 15 cc orally when calves are lethargic, not eating, scouring, or otherwise struggling
  • Can be used instead of CONVERT Big Calf Powder at birth, then followed with powder daily for up to 20 days or through weaning
